
Michael Colon, M.D.
Born in New Jersey, Dr. Michael Colon received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Siena College in 1999. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in 2003.
He completed his pediatric residency (including a year as chief pediatric resident) and his pediatric cardiology fellowship at Yale University in 2010.
Dr. Colon is board-certified in pediatric cardiology. He has special interests in fetal echocardiography, preventive pediatric cardiology, and quality improvement.
Dr. Colon is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Albany Medical College. He is the Co-Director of the Congenital Heart Program at Albany Medical Center and the President-Elect of the Capital Region American Heart Association Board of Directors.
